Niles Atallah focuses a video camera on the floor of his bedroom for a period of 24 hours where he films himself in intervals of half a second throughout the night.

 

Exhibitions: MAVI (Museo de artes visuales) in Santiago, Chile as part of the “Maquina Blanda” video art show from December 2007- January 2008.

The installation was exhibited on three monitors at the Catholic University Theater in Santiago, Chile during the Theater Festival ‘Santiago a Mil’ in January 2007. The video incorporates footage from the stage play as well as archival news footage from the Coup d’etat in 1973 in Chile, incidents during the military dictatorship
and the democratic voting process in 1990.
